Turpins Lodge Riding School - For enjoyable horse riding on safe and sensible horses and ponies for all abilities from complete beginners to more advanced riders. Lessons and hacks for everyone. We are open all year, except Mondays and bank holidays. We have an Indoor school so riding can take place in whatever the weather.
If you would like to book a lesson please join our online booking system. We will grade you and you will then be able to book anything suitable for your grade on line. Payment is taken at the time of booking.

If you are an experienced rider able to walk, trot and canter come and enjoy excellent largely off-road hacking over local bridleways. Or have a lesson in our 20 by 40 metre outside the school and show jumping paddock.
For beginners or nervous riders, we do novice hacks which consist of a half-hour lesson, followed by a half-hour hack, this is all off-road on our own land. We also have lessons in the indoor school where riders are supervised and helped as much as necessary but are encouraged to control their own horse /pony.
