Welcome to Turpins Lodge Horse Riding School and Livery Yard - all ages and abilities of riders welcome, minimum age 4 years, maximum weight 15 stones. We offer horse riding lessons, horse riding holidays, horse livery, Association of British Horse Riding Schools approved and Council Licenced.

Enjoyable Horse Riding Experience.

Come and enjoy horse riding on our safe sensible horses and ponies. We are set in 30 acres of Oxfordshire countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds, with access to miles of bridleways giving excellent off road horse riding.

Turpins Lodge Horse Riding School Facilities:

  • INDOOR SCHOOL - for horse riding lessons all year round what ever the weather!
  • OUTDOOR SCHOOL - all weather surface, with one of the best views in Oxfordshire especially if you are a spectator!
  • SHOW JUMPING PADDOCK - Full set of show jumps available ground permitting.
  • JUMPING LANE - with all weather surface. Ideal for learning to jump grids, combinations etc.
  • OFF ROAD HACKING - if you can horse ride come and enjoy the lovely countryside and bridleways
  • NOVICE HACKING - if you haven't done much or any horse riding come and enjoy a half hour ride in the school - showing you the basics - followed by a half hour hack all off road on our own land.
  • COFFEE - plentiful supply of free fresh coffee for spectators (and horse riders when not on a horse!)
  • WATER DISPENSER
  • PAYMENT - We accept all major credit/debit cards (except American Express) or cash.
  • SCHOOLMASTER COMPUTER BOOKING PROGRAM - Once you have ridden with us your details will be immediately to hand - including which horse you last rode, which Instructor taught your lesson or which route you went hacking.

We advise anyone travelling a long way to confirm their booking before leaving home.
